The Maine Academy of Modern Music is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the City of Bangor Parks & Recreation Department.  Beginning this Fall MAMM will be hosting its Saturday Bangor Rocks! program at the city's PAL Building on Watchmaker St, a stand-alone building which will allow students to rock comfortably while following MAMM's COVID-19 Safety Protocols.

"We couldn't be happier to be expanding our programs in Bangor" says MAMM director Jeff Shaw.  "We have had such great experiences in this community, thanks largely to our collaboration with the Bangor Arts Exchange, and we look forward to what the future holds."

Bangor Rocks! weekly 75-minute band rehearsals are led by MAMM instructor Jason Stewart and are focused on learning music chosen by the band, whether covers or originals. Students take the individual skills and techniques learned in private lessons to the next level! Alternatives to in-person performances, such as video recording or live streaming, will be possible.

Tuition for MAMM Bands is $75 per month.

NEW THIS YEAR: Students enrolled in MAMM programming are now able to obtain academic credit through our partnership with Royal Academy. Learn more here.
