OUTREACH

The Maine Academy of Modern Music regularly provides music education programs to schools, civic organizations, and other non-profit organizations. MAMM currently serves over 1600 students statewide and nearly 1200 of them access the programming for free or reduced cost through our scholarships and outreach program partnerships.

MAMM provides hands-on instrument workshops, artist-in-residency programs, private concerts, ensemble direction, workshops, and master classes to countless students through contract programming. Recent partnerships include the Preble St Teen Center, Spurwink Services, The REAL School, The EdGE & Maine Seacoast Mission, Cobscook Community Learning Center, Greater Portland Boys and Girls Clubs, One Longfellow Square, Ocean Avenue Elementary School, Breakwater School, and many more.
